From Pastor’s Desk 5/11/2008

It just sprang up! That’s what some will say about our new church sanctuary. But the members of this great body know it takes a lot of sweat, tears and labor. God’s church just doesn’t spring up; it comes at the highest price that could be paid by the very innocent and sinless Blood of Jesus.
Now we have perhaps once in a lifetime the opportunity to help build this work that will last until Jesus returns for His bride. Next Sunday is our celebration Sunday, our eighteenth anniversary and the day we turn our pledges in for our building campaign. At the end of the service, hopefully, we will go into our new sanctuary and pray over it.
Please be in prayer, everyone can’t give an equal amount but everyone can give as our Lord leads. After the service, our emphasis will turn to the city. We will take down all the posters and signs as we have made our commitment to the Lord as to what He would have us do.
I know God will bless our pledges and make it all possible. We will not be hammering you for money. Just give unto the Lord, He will complete the work He began eighteen years ago.
