From the Pastor’s Desk 04-11-2008

“Praise The Lord Jesus!” At this moment, 10:00am Friday, waiting for the Title Company to ring. Stockman’s Bank was overnighting our loan package by Federal Express Thursday afternoon. We expect to sign papers by noon today. Talk about down to the last minute. Thank God He knows what He is doing. I know He is only building our trust. God said in Hebrews 11:6 “Without faith it is impossible to please Him.”
One might say “sure God will make a way for His church, but I doubt He will come through for me!” Listen! You are the church; you and I have every right to claim every promise He made in His Holy Word. That is why it is written down so we might read over and over again His promises to us. He never said it would be easy, but He did say “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
Jesus said in John 15:20 “They persecuted me, they will persecute you.” Look up, we can see this world is in a mess, the more educated the human race becomes the dumber it seems many become. It is not by man’s logic we will overcome but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
His written word “Logos,” His spoken word “Rama.” Not only does He speak by His Holy Spirit, He has recorded every word for us to read and believe.
